Agnete Brus Krusell
Agnete Brus Krusell has a background as an attorney-at-law and partner at the lawfirm Poul Schmith, where she worked since 2008, respectively in the department for litigation and employment law and most recently in the department for finance and insolvency.
Agnete specializes in insolvency/restructuring and corporate law, which includes involves broad experience in handling bankrupt estates and restructurings within most industries, including the financial sector, the real estate industry and the insurance industry.
Furthermore, she has extensive experience in advising on supply shortages at companies that provide vital services according to the Danish Service and Health Act, including e.g. home care, BPA schemes and places of residence.
Agnete has also advised Lønmotagernes Garantifond (LG), in which connection she has extensive experience with the legal position of employees in bankruptcy.
In her time at the lawfirm Poul Schmith, Agnete has also assisted the Danish Tax Authorities in a number of advisory cases and court cases, which she continues to du today.
Agnete is a certified insolvency attorney and she is Prince2 certified.

I deal with insolvency and restructuring, employment law and general corporate law advice.
Through my broad experience in advising on matters relating to distressed businesses, both on the business side and on the creditor side, I handle both in- and out-of-court restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings.
I have experience from large bankrupt estates such as the bank, Amagerbanken, and several of the larger bankrupt estates in the real estate sector as well as liquidation of insurance companies. This has provided a broad knowledge of the special requirements and challenges of various industries.
I have also gained considerable experience with business transfers, real estate and foreclosures, drawing up contracts, company law and financial matters, as well as having extensive experience with negotiations and litigation.
Furthermore, I have specialized in handling employees’ affairs in bankruptcy, including the possibilities for covering salary claims at Lønmodtagernes Garantifond (LG), just as I advise on all aspects of employees’ rights in relation to an employer’s bankruptcy.
I am a certified insolvency practitioner.
